The album I like best? Well, it depends on WHY I like the album.

The 3 suns of Vinea is just grand. The purpose here is to save a world, nothing less! Impressive!

If I like an album for the pure beauty of the images, my preference goes to "La jonque céleste". (NO! I WON'T translate that by "The celestial junk!" :R) ) The long files of people climbing in the night with the chinese lanterns is enchanting, magical. (In French, I would say "féérique", like in fairy tales.)

In the next album, "La pagode des brumes", I like the untamed, yet always thuthfull personnality of Liao.

I found "La proie et l'ombre" an excellent enigma, almost in the class of Agatha Christie. The detail of the moving panel (the key to the understanding) had escaped me completely. It is only when I read the album for the second time that I noticed it. Many readings later, I noticed that Roger had skilfully hidden a rather simple plot behind all these esoteric beliefs that the two criminals used to drive Cecilia and Mac Nab crazy.

And I ALWAYS appreciate those albums where we meet Khâny! :o) Not only for her beauty (which is remarquable!) but also, how I would appreciate having a friend like her! I find her maturity, her calm even in tense situations impressive.
